TRICK OR TREAT? HALLOWEEN PARTY

Happy Halloween! My favorite time of the year!

This year, we turned a little Halloween Bash into a play date and had a few friends come over to help us celebrate the holiday. For this reason, I designed a party and matching printable set especially for kids.
Fun, bright, bold patterns with not-too-scary characters – a witch, vampire, bat, ghost & Frankenstein.

Fun was had by all. Tricky treats included a green, slimy, bubbling cauldron full of Witches Stew. I made this concoction by adding green food coloring to white chocolate and placed a chocolate fountain, inside a black plastic witches cauldron – I was so pleased with the result! The kids loved dipping their marshmallow sticks into the green gooey slime and eating it fondue-style. 

We also had "Monster's Eyes" cookies decorated with fondant and edible ink pen. Some fun drinks including: "Bats Blood", "Witches Brew" and "Monster Pop". Some yummy death-by-chocolate cupcakes and Candy Corn Parfaits satisfied our guests sweet tooth, and all went home with a special Halloween favor.

MASQUERADE 9th BIRTHDAY PARTY PRINTABLE DESIGN

Welcome to my daughter Lily's 9th Birthday Masquerade Party!

My daughter and I really brainstormed what theme to have for her birthday party this year, and we eventually settled on a fun Masquerade party.

This theme was so great to work with! Instead of going for something dark and black, we kept the color palette light and fun with light and dark purple, hot pink, teal and gold.

Each guest received their own ready-to-wear mask, and sweet treats included Jello-O pots, vanilla cupcakes, cake pops, macarons and candy.

Activities for our 15 guests included a mardi gras-themed scavenger hunt and mask decorating station with feathers, jewels crystals and more.

with buttercream I used an edible metallic spray to cover the cake in amazing gold.
I added a mask for decoration and I was done!

Preppy Pony Party 6th BIRTHDAY PRINTABLES

We're big into horses around here, so it was natural that my daughter Georgia, wanted a a Pony Party with an equestrian feel.

Adding to the preppy feel is the pale pink and navy color scheme (one of my favorites!) and simple but striking backdrop design.

Gorgeous treats made for a wonderful afternoon including mini lemon tarts, macarons, vanilla cupcakes, raspberry jell-O and assorted candy.

WLater, guests got to saddle-up for some real pony action with pony rides, sack races and a horseshoe toss.

Great fun was had by all.
