CHALKBOARD FLORAL EASTER PRINTABLE SET 

Easter time is such a happy and fun time – and definitely a favorite holiday with my two girls.

This year, I have designed a Floral Chalkboard Easter Printable Set – perfect for Easter Brunch.

The set actually comes in three colors; chalkboard, mint and pink. All three colors are included in the set and you can mix and match the printables however you wish!

I mixed the chalkboard banner and buffet labels and chose mostly mint for the remaining printables. I then added pink accents with ribbon, the cake, flowers and decorations.

The menu included sponge and buttercream rose cake, vanilla cupcakes, mini cheeseacakes in a jar, mini banana bread loaves, bunny sugar cookies and apple and grapefruit punch.

I really love the rustic feel of this table. I found the timber room screen at the back of the table on ebay some time ago, and was waiting for the perfect event for it. But I think my most favorite element is the large resin bunny (isn't he handsome) from Bed Bath N' Table. I laid eyes on him and just knew he would be perfect!

Mad Hatter Tea Party Dessert Table by Sweet Scarlet Designs

This was the Mad Hatter Tea Party I designed for my daughter's 7th birthday. After being rained-out and then postponed, the party finally went ahead. Although I had plans for it being a beautiful garden party, it had to be held under cover as the ground was too wet and mushy. But, we got there in the end and a lovely time was had by all.

The design I had in mind was a very modern interpretation of the Alice in Wonderland and Mad Hatter theme. I contrasted a modern Chevron pattern with vintage silverware pieces like the candelabra, and silver teapots and decanters. The beautiful gold teaset really made the whole table 'pop' and I was so lucky I found bits and pieces of this set at flea markets and on eBay to put together.

The party itself was a lot of fun with 'old school' activities and games like sack races, pass-the-parcel, horse rides, a photo booth (with printable Alice in Wonderland props) and croquet! Yes, I even found a croquet set on eBay! All the guests received co-ordinating ribbon wands, which I made, trimmed with name tags, which come as an editable PDF file in this printable set.

Food included vanilla cupcakes, layered jellies, teapot and teacup cookies, assorted candies, lollipops, cake pops and ice cream – which I made myself (apart from the ice cream!).

I hope you enjoy this party as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

All you need to make these pretty gumpaste roses is a small round cutter. I thin the edges of the petals between my fingers, no need for ball tools or forming mats.
