BOHEMIAN VALENTINES DAY DESSERT TABLE

This Valentines Day I wanted to try something very on trend and modern, so I came up with a Bohemian Valentines Printable Set and Dessert Table. I love the sweet arrows, the feathers and the backdrop which turned out great, using just paper and real feathers, glitter, beads and washi tape hanging from a branch. I'll being hanging this one in my daughters room after the party!

I kept the party treats simple and DIY with vanilla cupcakes, popcorn, jell-O Cups, sugared doughnuts and milk bottles. 

These decorations including the large arrows (made from balsa wood) and the other decorations for the pencil classroom favors, straws, cupcake picks and doughnut arrows were great fun to make. Hope you like them too!

"Message in a Bottle" Valentines Day Printable Set

Introducing a new printable set from Sweet Scarlet Designs – "Message in a Bottle" Valentines Printable Set.

Wouldn't we all love to receive a romantic message in a bottle from some mysterious source? Whether the sender is anonymous or someone we know, how romantic to receive a beautiful love letter – floating atop the waves!

I'm pretty much in love with this set – can you tell!

To style the dessert table for this set I used lots of nautical items mixed in with the Valentines theme – anchors (which I am in LOVE with right now!), hooks, bottles, twine, sand, starfish and sea shells. I love all these elements mixed with the white, pale pink, red and gray colors of the printable set.

I kept the food for this table very simple and easy for any host to re-create including vanilla cupcakes, creaming soda jell-O pots, meringue cakes, strawberry milk, lollipops, Hershey's Kisses and assorted candy.

The location I chose to photograph the table is very much in keeping with the nautical theme at the William Gunn Jetty, Manly, Brisbane. I was so lucky that this beautiful replica Schooner sailing boat was in dock and made THE perfect background for the table.

The set includes, 2", 1.5" and 3/4" party dots, bunting flags, large bottle labels, mini bottle wrap labels and water bottle labels. Also included are straw flags, 6"x4" party signs, editable food tents and patterned papers to write your love letters on!

For this centrepiece I filled a white metal drinks tub with sand, and added
my decorated bottles (with patterned paper messages inside), a large anchor, seashells and sea stars.
Straw flags added to long skewers added to the nautical look and feel.

Be Mine Valentine

Valentine's Day, February 14 is almost here, and to celebrate I've designed this set of DIY Valentine's Printables.

This set features a "Love" theme incorporating aqua blue with the traditional pink and red. I'm really happy with how this set turned out – I hope you like it too.

The dessert table I styled has loads of candy, dotted with the most beautiful red velvet ribbon as candy jar decorations. Vanilla cupcakes and traditional heart-shaped lollipops form the centrepiece of the table, surrounded by decadent Jelly Delights, teeny Choc Cups, wrapped chocolate bars and mini choc bites and watermelon cordial. Red tissue daisies form the backdrop.

This set features loads and loads of tags, favor cards and editable straw flags which can all be used on your Valentine's favors for family, friends and at school. Just print, trim & create!
